SUMMER 2008 HIKE SCHEDULE

Troop 78 will be having several Troop Hikes over the summer.  These will be open to ALL SCOUTS and will be great training events for those going to the Porkies this summers and Philmont next summer, good for those scouts working on their Hiking Merit Badge, or just fun hikes for the day.

Each scout will be responsible for getting to/from the meeting location for the hike, although Scouts can share rides.  A signed Parental Permission Slip must be provided to the Hike Coordinator in advance or brought with to the hike.

Scouts should bring a light pack with the usual hiking equipment (rain gear, first aid kit, water bottle, snacks, sun-block, bug spray, etc.).  Good hiking boots are a must have!
