Welcome to Pack 78

We are Cub Scout Pack 78. We were first chartered by the PTO of what is now School District 103 in the early 1940s. We are currently chartered by the Community Christian Church of Lincolnshire, IL. We welcome youth from first through fifth grades.

We have a rich program throughout the year. Cubs and parents go camping, hiking, games, geocaching, sledding, Pinewood Derby, Cubmobile downhill races, archery, climbing walls, canoeing, Memorial Day and July 4 parades, service projects, launch rockets and many more. Our Cubs raise funds in the communities around us by selling popcorn.

Cub Scout den meetings are held select Monday evenings at 6 PM at various locations in Lincolnshire.  A monthly Pack Meeting is held at Community Christian Church, 1970 Riverwoods Road, Lincolnshire, IL.

The Pack follows the BSA Cub Scout Program. Bobcat is the first rank that every Scout (except a Lion) earns when entering Cub Scouts. As the Cubs age, they progress through the ranks of Lion, Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos, and Arrow of Light. After earning the Arrow of Light in fifth grade, Cubs are encouraged to cross over to a Scouts BSA troop. The Advancement Trail provides more information on the the requirements for each rank.
