Troop 78 provides scouts with service opportunities to assist in the community. Currently, the troop holds conservation and service projects as needed each year by the village and surrounding areas.

The troop needs additional parental support to plan volunteer opportunities for the scouts. Planning will consist of organizing event location and dates, communication to scouts and parents, and creating a travel plan for scouts when needed.
